I am really looking forward to the Breeders Cup this fall with Quality Road in the mix.

Glad to see there are other horse racing fans out there just as excited for the World Cup-I gotta feeling its gonna be real good.

It would be really neat if Rachel Alexandra, Summer Bird and Mine that Bird somehow made it into the same race this year. A long-long-shot, but it’s an interesting idea to ponder.

I’m sticking with Lookin At Lucky to win the Preakness and I like the change in riders. Bob Baffert said that Garcia actually knows the colt better than Gomez.
Schoolyard Dreams and Caracortado are my favorite long-shot chances.

The coverage was downright insulting at times. What a waste. I think that Gary Stevens is improving every broadcast, and I like Donna, but how is the sport going to bring in more fans if NBC doesn’t let the beauty of the sport shine through?

Oh, and don’t get me started on NBC’s Olympics coverage. If I saw those beach volleyball players or Lindsey Vonn one more time, I was going to scream. It was sickening.
